Description
Vital Hair & Scalp at a glance
Vital Hair & Scalp is a water-soluble liquid active for fine and thinning-looking hair. The supplier lists shampoos for fine, sparse hair, care for thinning-looking hair, conditioners, products for weak hair and scalp care. The concentrate has a pH of 2.6 to 3.6 at 25 °C. It is added to the water phase during cool-down. Confirm the full INCI and dose on the certificate of analysis.
Aging hair
Hair ages just like skin. With time, each strand often becomes finer, the hair looks less dense, the color fades and the scalp can become drier and more sensitive. Many consumers notice these changes from their forties onward. Vital Hair & Scalp is positioned for this aging hair and scalp, supporting a fuller, stronger look and a comfortable, calm scalp with antioxidant care.
Scalp and hair together
A healthy-looking scalp is the base for good-looking hair. Antioxidant care helps the scalp handle daily stress from sun and pollution, and a calm scalp with less visible redness feels more comfortable. Combining scalp care with strengthening care for the hair gives a complete routine.
Formats
Shampoos for fine hair

How to use it
Add Vital Hair & Scalp to the water phase below 40 °C and stir until uniform. Because the concentrate is acidic, check and adjust the pH of the finished product, usually to 4.5 to 5.5 for scalp products. Keep the formula light for fine hair.
Partners
Density care uses several actives together. Biotinoyl tripeptide-1 adds a peptide route, and D-panthenol supports fuller-feeling hair. More concentrates are listed in the actives catalog.

Claim wording
Use wording such as fuller-looking, stronger-looking, more volume, a calm and healthy-looking scalp. Avoid wording about hair growth or hair conditions.
Dose guidance
Follow the technical sheet. Leave-on tonics use the full recommended level, and shampoos may use more.
Testing
Hair diameter measurements, volume assessment on standardized photos and scalp redness scoring over three months support fullness and scalp comfort wording.
Light formulas for fine hair
Fine hair goes flat easily. Avoid heavy oils, butters and high levels of silicones in products for this hair type. Choose light conditioning polymers, volumizing film formers and clear tonics. A conditioner applied only to the lengths keeps the roots light and full.
Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool place, away from direct light and heat.
