Description

This ingredient at a glance

IO Expression-Line Mask Active Liquid is a liquid active concentrate sold by the milliliter. Our product record lists the purpose as a lifting look, relief of the feeling of skin tension, a tighter and firmer appearance and smoother-looking expression lines. The full INCI and active content are on the CoA for each lot, which is the reference for any claim about composition.

Properties

The liquid dissolves in water and blends into toners, serums and creams without extra steps. Its listed uses describe a quick-acting, tension-relieving feel and a lifted look, the kind of experience that customers enjoy in pre-event masks and morning serums. Brands can present it as a relaxing step in an evening routine or as a fast refresher before makeup.

Applications

Our record lists masks, creams, serums, lotions, toners and care cosmetics. Practical examples are a pre-event lifting mask, a forehead and frown-line serum, a smoothing toner and a firming day cream. This ingredient pairs naturally with expression-line peptides such as Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 Powder and Pentapeptide-18 Powder. More options are in our peptides catalog.

How to use it

Cool the base below 40 °C, add this ingredient and stir gently until uniform. Avoid reheating. Keep the pH in a mild range. Follow the CoA and supplier documentation for the use level. In masks, add it after the clay or gel base has been prepared and cooled.

A relaxing evening ritual

The relax theme invites ritual. A light serum applied with gentle upward strokes, followed by a cream, turns skin care into a moment of rest. Calming scents such as lavender or chamomile support the concept, provided you keep them at low levels and test skin comfort. A short ritual described on the pack helps customers use the product consistently.

Rapid-effect positioning

Lifting masks and serums are often marketed for a quick visible effect before an event. If you plan such claims, base them on a consumer perception test or instrumental measurement carried out on your own finished product. Combine the active with film-forming humectants such as sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer for an immediate smoothing feel.

Compatibility

Liquid actives of this type are generally compatible with glycerin, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, peptides, clays and plant extracts. Avoid strong acids, strong bases, oxidizers and long heating. Check viscosity in gels after addition.

Pairing with film formers

Film-forming humectants such as sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer or a light polysaccharide give an instant smooth feel that complements the slower, routine-based story of the active. Add them before the concentrate and keep levels modest so the product does not feel tight or flake on the skin. ## Characteristics
