Description
The idea of a first essence started with yeast. Saccharomyces ferment filtrates became famous through watery essences in Asian skin care, used right after cleansing for a smooth, radiant look. This Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate brings the same family of ingredients to serums, toners, creams and even scalp care.
Product data
Water-soluble ferment filtrate. pH range 4.0 to 6.5. Typical applications: facial serums, toners and essences, creams and emulsions, products for sensitive skin, scalp toners and shampoos. For Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, the supplier CoA of each lot confirms the exact INCI, composition and recommended level.
What a ferment filtrate is
Saccharomyces is a yeast genus that includes baker's and brewer's yeast. To make a filtrate, the yeast ferments a nutrient medium, and the liquid is then filtered to remove the cells. The result contains metabolites such as amino acids, organic acids and sugars. Compositions vary with the process.

Formulating guidance

Who the products are for
Fans of Asian routines, customers with dull skin and those who like light, layered products.
High-level essences
Some essences use a filtrate as the main ingredient. If you plan a high level, check the supplier recommendations and run careful stability and tolerance tests.
Scalp care
In scalp toners, the filtrate fits a fresh, light spray. Keep alcohol moderate.
Testing
Run stability at room temperature, 40 °C and under light, checking pH, clarity, odor and sediment.
Packaging
Glass bottles with simple caps suit essences.
Batch quality
Keep the CoA for each lot, compare odor and color on arrival and store retained samples.
Range planning
An essence, a serum and a cream form a ferment line.
Preservation
Ferment-derived ingredients can feed microbes. Confirm with a challenge test.
Original recipe: ferment first essence, 100 g
Purified water 79.30 g, Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate 10.00 g as an example level per CoA, butylene glycol 3.00 g, glycerin 2.00 g, niacinamide 2.00 g, propanediol 1.50 g, panthenol 0.50 g, sodium hyaluronate 0.10 g, allantoin 0.10 g, preservative 1.00 g, sodium citrate solution 0.50 g. Dissolve hyaluronate in the glycols, add water and stir. Add niacinamide, panthenol, allantoin, the filtrate and preservative below 40 °C. Adjust pH to about 5.5.
Sensitive skin
The supplier specification lists products for sensitive skin. Keep such products fragrance-free, use mild preservatives and test on sensitive panelists. A short ingredient list with the filtrate, humectants and panthenol is a simple, credible formula.
Shampoo detail
In shampoos, add the filtrate after the surfactants and check clarity and viscosity. Gentle surfactants suit a scalp-comfort story.
Labeling
Use the INCI from the CoA on the label.
Storage
Keep the container closed in a cool place.
