Description
NatraColl at a glance
NatraColl is an amber, water-soluble liquid active. The supplier lists creams, serums and lotions for deep hydration and better texture, shampoos, conditioners and restoring masks for stronger-looking hair with less breakage, and foundations and makeup bases for added moisture and smoothness. The supplier pH is 4.0 to 5.5. It is added to the water phase during cool-down. Confirm the full INCI and dose on the certificate of analysis.
A collagen story without animals
Collagen is one of the best-known words in beauty. Classic cosmetic collagen comes from fish or cattle, which does not fit vegan or plant-based ranges. The name NatraColl points to a natural collagen-style story. Brands that want to use the collagen idea while keeping their products plant-based find this kind of active useful. Confirm the exact origin with the supplier before writing vegan claims.
Three categories in one active
Few actives cover skin care, hair care and makeup equally well. NatraColl gives a consistent story across a whole brand: a hydrating serum, a strengthening conditioner and a moisture-rich foundation can all share the same hero ingredient.
Formats
Creams, serums and lotions
Hydrating daily care with smoother texture.
Shampoos, conditioners and masks
Hair care that strengthens the look of the hair and reduces breakage.
Foundations and makeup bases
Moisture-rich bases for a smooth, comfortable makeup finish.
How to use it
Add NatraColl to the water phase below 40 °C and stir until uniform. Keep the final pH between 4.0 and 5.5. Its amber color can tint very clear products, so test the color in gels and transparent serums.
Partners
Collagen-style products often add humectants and peptides. Hydrolyzed glycosaminoglycans add a moisture story, and palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 gives a peptide angle. More concentrates are listed in the actives catalog.

Hydrating collagen-style serum recipe, 100 g
Distilled water 84.30 g, NatraColl 5.00 g, glycerin 3.00 g, propanediol 3.00 g, sodium hyaluronate 0.20 g, hydroxyethylcellulose 0.80 g, panthenol 1.00 g, allantoin 0.20 g, phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin 1.00 g, lactic acid solution 0.50 g, polyglyceryl-4 caprate 1.00 g. Hydrate the cellulose in water, dissolve hyaluronate, panthenol and allantoin, add glycerin and propanediol, then add NatraColl and the preservative below 40 °C and adjust the pH to about 5.0.
Who it is for
Vegan shoppers, plant-based brands and consumers who want a hydrating, smoothing product without animal ingredients form the main audience. In hair care, people who style with heat and brush often benefit from stronger-looking hair with less breakage.
Dose guidance
Follow the technical sheet. Serums and creams use the full recommended level, and makeup bases the lower end.
Testing
Corneometer readings for hydration, profilometry for texture and combing tests for breakage support moisture, smoothness and strength wording.
Makeup use
Foundations and primers with hydrating actives keep the skin comfortable through the day and stop makeup from settling into dry patches. Add NatraColl to the water phase of a water-in-silicone or oil-in-water foundation. Check that the amber color does not shift the shade of light foundations.
Hair use
In conditioners and masks, NatraColl supports stronger-looking hair. Use it with a cationic conditioning agent and keep the pH slightly acidic for a smooth cuticle. Recommend the mask once or twice a week for hair that breaks easily.
Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool place, away from direct light and heat.
