Description
Lakesis at a glance
Lakesis is an oil-soluble active supplied as an oily liquid. It dissolves in oils and is added to the oil phase. The supplier lists toning lifting oils, appearance-focused cosmetic products, regenerating night creams, products for slack and sagging-looking skin, sealing products, care for damaged-looking skin and eye contour cosmetics. Confirm the full INCI and dose on the certificate of analysis.
Why an oil-soluble firming active
Most firming actives on the market are water-based peptides or plant extracts. An oil-soluble firming active opens other formats: face oils, balms, sticks and anhydrous serums that contain no water at all. These products do not need a broad preservative system, feel rich and fit evening routines. Lakesis lets a brand build a lifting story in those textures.
Formats
Lifting face oils
Dry-touch face oils for a firmer, toned look and a soft glow.
Night creams
Regenerating night creams for a rested, smoother look in the morning.
Sealing balms
Anhydrous balms that protect the skin surface in cold and windy weather.
Eye contour care
Light eye creams and oil-serums for the look of a firmer eye area.
How to use it
Add Lakesis to the oil phase. In emulsions, add it to the oil phase before emulsification or during cool-down if the technical sheet allows. In anhydrous oils, simply mix it with the other oils at room temperature. Add an antioxidant to protect the oils.
Partners
Oil-based lifting products work well with stable lipids and antioxidants. Camellia oil is a light carrier for face oils, and vitamin E acetate protects the blend. More concentrates are listed in the actives catalog.

Lifting face oil recipe, 100 g
Caprylic/capric triglyceride 40.00 g, squalane 25.00 g, camellia oil 20.00 g, jojoba oil 8.50 g, Lakesis 5.00 g, tocopherol 0.50 g, rosemary leaf extract in oil 0.50 g, bisabolol 0.50 g. Weigh all the oils into a clean beaker, add Lakesis and the antioxidants, and mix at room temperature until clear. Fill into dark glass bottles with a dropper.
Texture tips
Face oils feel lighter when they are built on triglycerides and squalane, and richer with plant oils and butters. For a dry-touch finish, add a light ester. For night balms, add a wax to give a solid texture. Keep fragrance low for eye products.
Dose guidance
Follow the technical sheet. Face oils and night creams can use the full recommended level, and eye products the lower end.
Testing
Cutometer readings for firmness and elasticity and standardized photos over four to eight weeks support lifting and toning wording. Check the oxidation stability of the oil blend at elevated temperature.
Who it is for
Mature skin that looks less firm and feels dry benefits most from rich oil-based care. Evening routines suit face oils and balms, because they have time to absorb overnight. Recommend a few drops pressed into the skin after a serum, or mixed into the night cream.
Anhydrous advantages
Water-free products are compact, need no broad preservative system and travel well. They also fit solid formats such as face balm sticks and eye sticks, which are popular in zero-waste packaging. Lakesis dissolves in the oil base, so it fits these products without extra emulsifiers.
Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool place, away from heat and light. Keep the container full or flush with nitrogen after opening.
