Description

About this ingredient

IO Lash Serum Concentrate is a peptide sold as a ready liquid concentrate for lash and brow care. Brands use it in clear lash serums, brow gels and care-enriched mascara bases aimed at fuller, longer and denser-looking lashes. Our product record confirms that it is water-soluble and added at cool-down. Supplier marketing mentions visible lash volume after a short period of use, but any such claim needs confirmation on the finished product before it appears on a label. The full INCI and peptide content are printed on the CoA for every lot.

The lash care market

Lash serums are one of the fastest growing niches in beauty. Customers want the look of extensions or lash lifts without salon visits, and many have tried several products already. They compare peptide names, read reviews and expect a clear routine.

Product formats

A clear serum with a fine-tip brush applied along the lash line is the core product. Brow gels with a spoolie, overnight lash conditioners and mascara primers with a care story are natural extensions. This ingredient combines well with Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1 Powder and with Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3 + Red Clover Extract Hair Complex Peptide in a multi-peptide lash system. More options are in our peptides catalog.

Processing

Prepare a light gel base, cool it below 40 °C and add this ingredient with gentle stirring. Avoid reheating. Keep the final pH mild and choose a preservative suitable for the eye area. Follow the CoA for the use level.

Eye-area safety

Lash and brow products are used very close to the eye, so safety testing is essential. Run ophthalmological tolerance testing on the finished product, keep fragrance and essential oils out of the formula and print clear instructions to apply along the upper lash line only. Recommend stopping use if the eyes feel uncomfortable.

Applicator design

The applicator decides how much product reaches the lash line. A fine felt tip or a very thin brush gives precise control, while a spoolie suits brow gels. Test several applicators with the final gel viscosity before choosing one.

Routine and expectations

Lash products deliver results over weeks of nightly use. Suggest a simple routine: clean, dry lashes, one stroke along the upper lash line in the evening, and patience. Show unretouched photographs taken under identical light and avoid exaggerated before-and-after images.

Claims and testing

Lash length and density can be measured with standardized macro photography on the finished product. Combine the data with consumer perception and use wording such as fuller-looking, longer-looking and denser-looking lashes.

Brow care

Brows thin out with age and over-plucking, and brow serums are an easy extension of a lash line. A tinted or clear brow gel with this ingredient holds hairs in place while delivering a care story. Customers appreciate a product that styles and conditions at the same time.

Mascara with care

A care-enriched mascara primer lets customers use the active every day without an extra step. Keep the primer light, quick-drying and compatible with common mascaras, and explain that the serum used at night remains the main care product.

Packaging

Small tubes with tight-fitting applicators protect the gel from air and contamination. Clear labeling of the opening date helps customers replace the product on time.
