Description
KeraDyn in short
KeraDyn is a liquid hair care active for appearance support and conditioning. It dissolves in water. The supplier specification gives two pH values: 9 to 11 for the material itself and a working pH of 4 to 6 for finished products. The listed uses are shampoos for damaged, restoring, nourishing and unruly hair, conditioners including leave-in types, masks, serums and styling products. Confirm the full INCI and dose on the certificate of analysis.
appearance support for damaged and unruly hair
Damaged hair has a rough, open cuticle and has lost part of its proteins and lipids. It feels dry, tangles easily and is hard to style. Unruly hair adds frizz and volume in the wrong places. appearance support actives aim to make strands feel stronger, smoother and more manageable, so styling becomes easier and hair looks healthier.

How to use it
Add KeraDyn to the water phase and stir until uniform. Because the material is alkaline, measure the pH after addition and adjust the finished product to pH 4 to 6 with lactic or citric acid. Add it before final pH adjustment, not after. In conditioners, add it after the emulsion has cooled.
Partners
appearance support ranges combine actives that work on the hair surface and inside the fiber. Hydrolyzed keratin PG-propyl silanetriol adds a film-forming keratin, and KeraNutrition brings a nourishing complex. More hair concentrates are listed in the actives catalog.

Why pH matters for hair
Hair's surface is slightly acidic. Products in the pH 4 to 6 range help the cuticle lie flat, which makes hair smoother and shinier. An alkaline product leaves the cuticle raised and hair rough. That is why adjusting the final pH is essential with an alkaline raw material.
Dose guidance
Follow the technical sheet. Masks and conditioners use the upper part of the range, leave-ins the middle.
Testing
Combing force, shine and frizz assessments on damaged tresses support appearance support and manageability claims.
Unruly hair and frizz
Unruly hair often has an irregular shape and a raised cuticle that catches moisture from the air. That causes frizz. Smoothing the surface with appearance support and conditioning actives, adding a light oil and keeping the product slightly acidic all help. Recommend a leave-in after every wash For formulators building consumer-facing cosmetics who fight frizz daily.
Shampoo note
When used in shampoos, the alkaline material can change viscosity together with the pH. Adjust the pH first, then thicken with salt.
Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool place, away from heat.
