Description

A radiance peptide delivered in a fine emulsion

Crystalide is for products sold on glow, translucency and surface quality rather than on firmness. Its peptide, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-10, arrives already carried in a fine emulsion with lipids and lecithin, which is why it looks different from a simple water dilute. The catalog INCI is Water (Aqua) (and) Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (and) Cetyl Palmitate (and) Sorbitan Stearate (and) Polysorbate 80 (and) Hydrogenated Lecithin (and) Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-10. CAS is Mixture; the peptide carries CAS 887140-79-6.

What it is not

Crystalide is not Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 Liquid, which is a firming palmitoyl blend, and it is not a plain water-only peptide dilute. If you want a tone peptide in powder form, Oligopeptide-34 is a different option. More liquid grades are in our peptide solutions.

Formulating with it

Phase and temperature

Add it in cool-down, below 40 °C, with gentle mixing, and avoid long holds at high temperature. Because it is an emulsified system, add it slowly to the finished product with gentle stirring and check that it disperses evenly. Very high levels of free alcohol or strong electrolytes can upset the carrier emulsion.

Level

Take the use level from the supplier documentation for your lot.

Product types that suit it

Glow serums, radiance creams, illuminating primers, essence lotions and sheet-mask emulsions.

Pairing ideas

Niacinamide, vitamin C derivatives, sodium hyaluronate and light-reflecting minerals. Add each active separately and check clarity, odor and viscosity after each addition instead of premixing several actives in one beaker.

Example architecture

The level comes from the CoA, so no gram recipe is shown here.

Claims

Describe skin that looks more radiant, luminous and refined. Keep claims cosmetic and tied to appearance. Any before-and-after statement needs a test on the finished product, not on the raw material.

Testing the finished product

Run a stability check on the finished product at room temperature, at 40 °C and in a fridge for several weeks, and watch color, odor, clarity, viscosity and pH. Check the product in its final pack too, since pumps, droppers and jars expose it to air differently. A preservative challenge test on the final product is the standard step before launch.

Lot handling and storage

Record appearance and pH on arrival, compare them with the CoA, and keep the CoA with your batch records so each finished batch can be traced to its lot. Store tightly closed, cool and away from light, and respect the shelf life on the CoA.

Ordering

It is sold as a raw material for cosmetic formulation, not as a finished consumer product. Start with a small pack for bench trials and scale once your stability checks pass. It ships from Florida, usually within 1 to 2 business days, in the pack sizes shown above, and US shipping is free on orders of $50 or more.
