Description
About Ceramide Complex
Ceramide Complex is a ready liquid concentrate for barrier-focused skin care. A pre-dispersed complex makes these lipids easy to add without melting waxy powders. Our product record lists it as added at cool-down with a very wide compatible pH window. The ceramide types, full INCI and active content are printed on the CoA for every lot.
Why barrier care sells
Dry, tight and rough-feeling skin is one of the most common everyday concerns. Harsh cleansers, cold weather, low humidity and strong actives all leave the skin feeling stripped. Customers now know the word barrier and actively look for ceramides on labels. A clear ceramide story is one of the most reliable claims in modern skin care.
Product formats
Barrier creams for the face, rich body lotions, hand creams, comfort serums and products that pair with strong actives such as retinoids are the main formats. The complex works well next to Niacinamide and with single ceramides such as Ceramide NP. More ingredients are listed in our actives catalog.
Processing
Prepare the emulsion and cool it below 40 °C before adding the complex with gentle stirring. Avoid reheating. The very wide pH window in the product record gives flexibility, but keep the final product in a skin-friendly range. Follow the CoA for use level and phase guidance.
The lipid trio
Skin lipids work as a team. Explaining this trio in plain words on the product page shows expertise and justifies a premium position.
Partnering with strong actives
Retinoids, exfoliating acids and high levels of vitamin C can leave the skin feeling dry. A ceramide cream recommended as the next step in the routine helps customers stay comfortable and keep using their actives. This makes a ceramide product a natural cross-sell for any brand with a strong active-heavy range.
Hand and body care
Hands are washed many times a day and lose comfort quickly. A non-greasy hand cream with the complex, glycerin and a light butter keeps them soft. A body lotion with the same complex extends the line for dry legs and arms in winter.
Claims and testing
Transepidermal water loss and corneometer measurements on the finished product support barrier and hydration claims. Use wording such as supports the skin barrier, helps lock in moisture and softer, smoother-feeling skin.

Record the lot number in your batch log so every production run can be traced back to its certificate of analysis. Retain a small sample of each lot for at least the shelf life of the finished product, since it makes later quality questions much easier to answer.
