Two expression-line peptides in one liquid

Argirelox combines Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 and Pentapeptide-18 in a single solution. The published INCI is Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Pentapeptide-18, Citric Acid and Caprylyl Glycol. CAS is Mixture; the two peptides are listed as 616204-22-9 and 64963-01-5. The pairing is popular because the two peptides are described as acting at different points of the same signal, so one addition gives a complete expression-line story.

Formulating with Argirelox

Phase and temperature

Add it in cool-down, below 40 °C, with gentle mixing, and avoid long holds at high temperature. The liquid blends into water-based serums and gels, or into an emulsion once it has cooled.

Level and pH

Take the use level from the supplier documentation for your lot. The vehicle contains citric acid, so record the pH after the addition and adjust if needed.

Labeling

Every component of the vehicle must appear on your ingredient list. Glycerin and caprylyl glycol also count toward the totals of those ingredients if you use them elsewhere in the formula.

Product types that suit it

Forehead and frown-area serums, eye serums, eye creams, lip-contour products and smoothing primers. It also works in sheet-mask essences and in night creams.

Pairing ideas

Acetyl Octapeptide-3 or Acetyl Hexapeptide-30 extend the expression-line story further. A palmitoyl matrikine adds firmness. Hyaluronic acid, panthenol and glycerin support a smoother, plumper look. Add each active separately in cool-down.

Example: eye-contour serum architecture

Water, glycerin, a sodium hyaluronate gel, a thin polymer, Argirelox at the supplier level, caffeine, panthenol and a preservative suited to eye products. A roller ball or fine dropper gives a clean application.

Claims

Keep claims cosmetic: expression lines look softer and the eye contour looks smoother after regular use. Do not compare the product with injections. Trade names may need their owner's permission before they appear on a finished label.

Lot handling and storage

Record appearance and pH on arrival, compare them with the CoA, and keep the CoA with your batch records so each finished batch can be traced to its lot. Store tightly closed, cool and away from light.

Stability checks before scale-up

Run a small pilot batch first. Keep samples at room temperature, in a warm cabinet and in the fridge, and check color, odor, clarity, viscosity and pH at set intervals over several weeks. Test the product in the final pack as well as in glass, because pumps, droppers and tubes can change how a peptide product ages. Write every observation into the batch record next to the lot number of the raw material.
