Description
AC Hair and Scalp Complex with Hexapeptide-11
AC Hair and Scalp Complex is a clear, colorless liquid made in Italy for scalp and hair care. Its INCI is Water, Hexylene Glycol, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugar Cane) Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Betaine, Hexapeptide-11. It dissolves in water, is used at 1 to 5% and should be added at no more than 40 °C. The complex is acidic, with a pH of 2.6 to 3.6 at 25 °C, so the finished product needs a pH check. The smallest pack is 0.33 oz (10 mL).
Three groups of ingredients
Fruit and sugar cane extracts bring natural fruit acids and a fresh, clarifying feel to the scalp. Green tea leaf extract adds an antioxidant profile, and betaine supports moisture. Hexapeptide-11 is a short peptide used in age care for skin and hair. Together they support a care concept for hair that looks thin, dull or tired.
What it does in a product
The supplier positions the complex for age care of the scalp and hair. Finished products support hair that looks fuller, stronger and shinier, a scalp that feels clean and balanced and lengths that look more lively. Keep claims cosmetic, such as more body and shine and a fresh feeling scalp, and avoid promises that go beyond appearance.
Rinse-off and leave-on
Shampoos, conditioners and masks for thin-looking hair are the main rinse-off formats, with 2 to 3% as a practical shampoo level. Scalp tonics and serums give the longest contact time and can use the upper part of the range.
Processing and partners
Add the complex below 40 °C and then adjust the pH of the finished product, since the liquid itself is strongly acidic. Pair it with biotinoyl tripeptide-1 for a peptide hair concept and with caffeine in scalp tonics. SymHair FORCE 1631 adds a strengthening angle. Other pre-dissolved peptides are in our peptide solutions section.
