Description
About this ingredient
IO Premium Serum Active Concentrate is a liquid concentrate sold by the milliliter. Our product record confirms that it is water-soluble and goes directly into the water phase during cool-down. Its intended cosmetic purpose, INCI and active content are documented by the supplier and printed on the CoA for each lot. This page does not repeat composition data we cannot verify across lots; it focuses on how to turn a liquid concentrate into a premium finished product.
Premium positioning
A premium product built around such an ingredient needs more than the active: a refined texture, well-chosen partners, elegant packaging and consistent claims across the label, website and retail listings.
Applications
Premium serums, ampoules, eye creams, night creams and luxury face oils with a water phase are typical homes for concentrates of this kind. This ingredient can be combined with Mu-Conotoxin CnIIIC in an expression-line ampoule or with IO appearance-focused cosmetic Serum Active Liquid in a signature cream. See more in our peptides catalog.
How to use it
Prepare the base and cool it below 40 °C. Weigh this ingredient into the batch and stir gently until uniform. Avoid reheating. Keep the pH within the range in the supplier documentation. Follow the CoA for the use level.
Single-dose ampoules
Ampoules are small, sealed doses that suggest freshness and intensity. They suit concentrates well, because each dose is used once and the product is protected from air until opening. Fill under clean conditions, choose a robust preservative or validate a preservative-free approach with your filler, and describe a clear course of use on the box.
Texture refinement
Premium serums often combine a light gel with a small amount of silicone or ester for a silky slip. Test several thickeners and choose the one that feels smoothest with your concentrate. Small differences in after-feel strongly influence perceived quality.
Documentation
Keep the CoA, technical data sheet and safety data sheet for each lot in your product file. Record lot numbers on batch sheets. This documentation supports regulatory compliance and lets you trace any question back to the source.
Compatibility
Liquid concentrates are generally compatible with glycerin, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, niacinamide, plant extracts and peptides. Avoid strong oxidizers and long heating. Add actives one at a time and check for haze.
Pricing a premium product
Premium pricing must be backed by the full experience. Calculate the cost of the concentrate per unit, add packaging, labor and testing, and compare with competitors in the same price tier. The extra margin should fund elegant packaging, a refined texture and clear communication rather than an inflated active level. ## Characteristics
Form: liquid active concentrate. Solubility: water. Addition: water phase at cool-down. Purpose, INCI and active content: in the supplier documentation and on the CoA. Supply: milliliter packs.
Original recipe: silky premium serum, 100 g
Phase A: distilled water 84.40 g, glycerin 3.00 g, propanediol 3.00 g, hydroxyethylcellulose 0.50 g; hydrate until clear. Phase B: dimethicone and dimethicone crosspolymer blend 2.00 g emulsified with polysorbate 20 0.50 g. Phase C below 40 °C: IO Premium Serum Active Concentrate at the level on the CoA, here 4.00 g; panthenol 1.00 g; sodium hyaluronate 0.10 g predissolved; preservative 1.00 g; fragrance 0.50 g. Mix gently and adjust pH to about 5.8.
Record the lot number in your batch log so every production run can be traced back to its certificate of analysis. Retain a small sample of each lot for at least the shelf life of the finished product, since it makes later quality questions much easier to answer.
Storage
Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool place away from light. Reseal after use. Ships from Florida in milliliter packs.
