Description
Hyalomatrix at a glance
Hyalomatrix is a liquid complex of several hyaluronic acid forms together with hydrolyzed glycosaminoglycans. The supplier specification INCI lists Water, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans, Sodium Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid. The supplier specification gives a pH of 4.0 to 5.0 and lists moisturizing, soothing and appearance-focused cosmetic creams and gels, after-sun cosmetics and body lotions. Confirm the complete INCI and the hyaluronic acid content on the certificate of analysis.
Why a multi-form complex
Hyaluronic acid comes in many molecular sizes, and each behaves differently on the skin. Large molecules and crosspolymers form a smooth, moisture-holding film on the surface and give an immediate plumping feel. Hydrolyzed, smaller forms give a lighter feel and support hydration in a different way. Glycosaminoglycans are the family of molecules to which hyaluronic acid belongs. A complex that combines them offers a fuller hydration profile than a single grade.
Formats
Moisturizing creams and gels
Daily moisturizers are the main use. Gels show off the fresh, plumping feel.
Soothing products
Gels and creams for a calm, comfortable feel are listed in the supplier specification.
appearance-focused cosmetic care
A plumper, smoother look supports appearance-focused cosmetic creams and serums.
After-sun and body
After-sun gels and body lotions benefit from the moisture and comfort.
How to use it
Add Hyalomatrix to the water phase and stir until uniform. Adding it at cool-down protects the hyaluronic acid forms from long heating. The complex can change viscosity, so adjust thickeners after addition. Keep the final pH in a skin-friendly range.
Partners
Hydration concepts benefit from humectants and barrier ingredients. Vegetable NMF adds natural moisturizing factor components, and Hydrolyzed glycosaminoglycans can strengthen the GAG story. More hydrolysate-based actives are in the hydrolysates catalog.

Plumping hydration gel recipe, 100 g
Distilled water 84.00 g, Hyalomatrix 6.00 g, glycerin 3.00 g, butylene glycol 3.00 g, sclerotium gum 0.80 g, xanthan gum 0.20 g, panthenol 1.00 g, allantoin 0.20 g, phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin 1.00 g, sodium citrate solution 0.80 g. Disperse the gums in glycerin and butylene glycol, add them to the water and stir until hydrated, dissolve panthenol and allantoin, then add Hyalomatrix and the preservative below 40 °C and adjust the pH to about 5.5.
Avoiding a tacky feel
High doses of hyaluronic acid can feel tacky. Balance the formula with a light emollient or a small amount of a sensory ingredient, and test the after-feel at several dose levels.
Testing
Corneometer readings after one hour, eight hours and four weeks, and profilometry for fine dry lines, support hydration and plumping claims.
Dose guidance
Follow the dose in the technical sheet. Gels and serums use the upper part of the range, creams the middle.
Who it suits
Dehydrated skin, mature skin, skin after sun exposure and skin in dry indoor air all benefit from a multi-form hyaluronic complex. Because it is light and leaves no oil on the skin, it also suits oily and combination skin that still needs moisture.
Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool place, away from heat and light.
