Description

IO Face and Eye Peptide Solution comes from a family of synthetic peptides developed for one specific visual target: skin that looks fuller, smoother and more cushioned. The concentrate is aimed at mature skin care, where plumpness and smoothness are what customers notice first.

The concept in plain words

As skin ages, the matrix that holds water between cells becomes less dense and the surface can look thinner and more creased. Peptides in this group are marketed to support a denser-looking, plumper-looking skin over regular use. This ingredient is supplied as a water-soluble solution; its exact INCI and active content are on the supplier CoA, which is the document to quote on your label.

Application map

The card names five product families.

Creams and serums

A serum gives the most concentrated experience, while a cream supports the plumping story with a cushioned texture. Combining both in a routine is a common retail strategy.

Patches and masks

Hydrogel patches and sheet masks keep the solution on the skin for twenty minutes or so, which suits event-driven products sold as a quick boost.

Eye area

The thin under-eye skin shows dryness and crepey texture early. A light gel or fluid with the peptide and a humectant is a natural eye contour product.

Lifting gels and essences

Lifting gels with a film-forming polymer give a temporary tightening feel, while the peptide carries the longer-term smoothing message. Essences are thin, watery layers used before serum in multi-step routines.

Building the formula

Add this ingredient to the water phase during cool-down and avoid long heating. Use it alongside a moisture base such as low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and, if you want a second peptide, palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 is a familiar partner with a recognizable name. Keep the claim set modest and test the finished product with consumers before promising visible change. Explore other mature-skin peptides in the peptides collection.

Who buys a product like this

The core customer is in their forties or older and has tried hydration basics already. They know the vocabulary of peptides, compare trade names online and look for a reason to trust a new jar. A product built around a recognizable concentrate gives the brand something specific to explain. Keep the explanation clear: what the ingredient is, why it was chosen, and how often to apply it for the best experience. Pair the product with sun protection advice in your routine guidance, since daily UV exposure works against every smoothing claim.

Stability and testing

Check the finished product for color, odor and viscosity at room temperature and at 40 °C for several weeks. Gel bases with carbomer can lose viscosity if electrolytes are added late, so introduce salts carefully. Patches and hydrogel masks need compatibility tests with the hydrogel matrix itself.

Original recipe: plumping eye fluid, 100 g

Phase A: water 84.00 g, glycerin 3.00 g, propanediol 3.00 g, acrylates/C10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer 0.30 g. Phase B: squalane 2.00 g, caprylic/capric triglyceride 2.00 g. Disperse the polymer, add B under stirring, neutralize with sodium hydroxide solution 0.30 g. Phase C: IO Face and Eye Peptide Solution 3.00 g as an example level per CoA, sodium hyaluronate 0.20 g, panthenol 1.00 g, eye-safe preservative 1.20 g. Final pH about 6.0.

Record the lot number in your batch log so every production run can be traced back to its certificate of analysis. Retain a small sample of each lot for at least the shelf life of the finished product, since it makes later quality questions much easier to answer.

Storage

Keep the concentrate sealed in a cool, dark place. Dispense with clean tools and close the bottle promptly.
