Description
BIO-CERAMIDYL PURE explained
BIO-CERAMIDYL PURE is a powder for skin and hair care. According to the supplier specification, it dissolves in oils at 80 to 85 °C, or disperses in water at the same temperature to form an even, opalescent solution. It gives a mildly acidic pH. The supplier specification names creams for flaky, dry and rough skin, very dry skin care and appearance-focused cosmetic care, and also hair care. Lot-specific INCI and dosage come from the supplier CoA.
Ceramides and the skin barrier
Ceramides are a key part of the lipids that hold the outer layer of skin together. When this layer lacks lipids, skin feels tight and looks dry and flaky. Ceramide-themed products help skin feel soft and comfortable again. Barrier care is one of the strongest trends in skin care, and ceramides are among the most searched ingredients.
Product formats
Creams for dry, rough skin
Rich creams for very dry skin are the clearest use. Dissolve the powder in the hot oil phase.
appearance-focused cosmetic care
Mature skin often feels drier. Night creams with ceramides support a smooth, comfortable feel.
Body care
Lotions for rough skin on elbows, knees and legs suit the supplier specification's list.
Hair care
Conditioners and masks can carry it for smoother, softer hair.
Processing
Heat the oil phase to 80 to 85 °C and dissolve the powder fully before emulsifying. Alternatively, disperse it in the water phase at the same temperature. Keep stirring until even. Check for crystals after cooling.
Partners
Membrane-Lipid Complex and Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) build a full barrier routine. More ingredients appear in the actives catalog.
Testing
Check for recrystallization in cold storage. A panel with dry skin can rate comfort and smoothness after two and four weeks. Instrument tests of skin moisture support stronger claims.
Claims
Use comfort and appearance wording: soft, smooth, comfortable skin; less flaky-looking skin; smoother hair.
Range ideas
A barrier cream, a body lotion and a hand cream make a ceramide line. Clean, clinical packaging suits the theme.
Characteristics
Form: powder. Solubility: oils at 80 to 85 °C, or disperses in water at the same temperature as an opalescent solution. pH: mildly acidic. Uses: dry, flaky, rough skin, very dry skin, appearance-focused cosmetic care, hair care. INCI and level: supplier CoA.
Original recipe: ceramide barrier cream, 100 g
Phase A: distilled water 68.60 g, glycerin 5.00 g, xanthan gum 0.30 g. Phase C: natural moisturizing factor (NMF) 3.00 g, panthenol 1.60 g, preservative 1.00 g. Heat B to 85 °C until clear, heat A to 80 °C, emulsify, cool and add C below 40 °C.
Heat processing tips
Because the powder needs 80 to 85 °C, plan the process so the oil phase reaches that temperature and stays there long enough for the powder to dissolve fully. Stir gently and check that no specks remain before emulsifying. After the emulsion forms, cool with steady stirring. If crystals appear after a few days, the powder was not fully dissolved or the level is too high for the oil phase. Adjust and repeat the test. Record temperatures and holding times in the batch sheet for production.
Hair use
In conditioners, add the powder to the hot oil phase with the fatty alcohols, and it will become part of the conditioning base.
Record the lot number in your batch log so every production run can be traced back to its certificate of analysis. Retain a small sample of each lot for at least the shelf life of the finished product, since it makes later quality questions much easier to answer.
Storage
Store closed in a dry place. Close the container after use.
