Description

Vitamin E Millicapsules RED at a glance

Vitamin E Millicapsules RED are small red capsules, as the supplier specification describes them. A millicapsule is a bead with a shell and an active inside, in this case vitamin E, the classic oil-soluble antioxidant. The capsules are designed to sit in clear gels and serums as visible red dots. When the product is rubbed onto the skin, the shells break and release the vitamin E. Check the shell composition, size and vitamin E content on the supplier data sheet and CoA.

Why visible beads sell

Shoppers like to see the active in a product. Colored beads floating in a clear gel signal that something special is inside, and the moment the beads melt into the skin makes application fun. This makes millicapsules popular in serums, eye gels and shower gels, especially in ranges aimed at younger shoppers.

Product formats

Clear gel serums

The classic format: a transparent gel with red beads.

Eye gels

Light eye gels with visible vitamin E beads.

Shower gels and cleansers

Clear cleansers with beads that release vitamin E during washing.

Body gels

Refreshing body gels for summer.

Processing

Make the gel first and check that it is thick enough, with enough yield value, to hold the beads in place. Carbomer and some gums work well. Add the capsules at the very end, at room temperature, with slow, gentle stirring. Never use high-shear mixing after the beads are added. Fill carefully to avoid breaking them. Check that the beads do not float or sink after a few weeks.

Good partners

Hyaluronic acid and glycerin make a clear hydration gel. IO Brightening Antioxidant Active Liquid supports the antioxidant story, and Tocopheryl acetate powder adds vitamin E in the base itself. Browse more in the actives catalog.

Testing

Check bead suspension, color bleeding and shell integrity after storage at 40 °C and after freeze and thaw cycles. Test how easily the beads break on the skin.

Claims

With visible vitamin E beads; antioxidant care; beads melt into the skin.

Characteristics

Appearance: millicapsules, red. Content: vitamin E. Use: suspended in clear gels and serums; release when rubbed on skin. Shell composition, size and vitamin E content: supplier data sheet and CoA.

Original recipe: vitamin E bead gel serum, 100 g

Distilled water 87.60 g, glycerin 4.00 g, carbomer 0.60 g, sodium hydroxide solution 1.80 g, sodium hyaluronate 0.20 g, panthenol 1.00 g, phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin 0.80 g, Vitamin E Millicapsules RED 4.00 g. Disperse the carbomer, add glycerin, hyaluronate and panthenol, neutralize to form a clear gel, preserve, then fold in the capsules gently at the end.

Packaging for bead products

Bead products look best in clear bottles. Choose a pump or dropper with an opening wide enough for the beads, or a jar for thicker gels. Test the pump with beads to make sure they pass through without clogging or breaking.

Range ideas

A vitamin E bead serum, an eye gel and a shower gel can share the same capsules for a playful, antioxidant-focused line.

Lot records

Keep each CoA with the batch file and note the lot used.

Choosing bead color

Red beads stand out against a clear or pale gel and suggest energy and vitality. Make sure the color does not bleed into the gel over time, and test the product in light, since some colors fade. Keep the base colorless so the beads remain the visual highlight.

Bead size and feel

Larger beads are more visible but may feel gritty before they break. Smaller beads blend in faster.

Record the lot number in your batch log so every production run can be traced back to its certificate of analysis. Retain a small sample of each lot for at least the shelf life of the finished product, since it makes later quality questions much easier to answer.

Storage

Store closed in a cool place. Close the container after use.

Product Specifications

StorageStore tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from light and heat. Respect the shelf life on the CoA.
