How to use it

Weigh VBE very precisely, because small changes in dose change the sensation strongly. Pure VBE dissolves in oils, alcohol and glycols, so premix it in a glycol or the oil phase as the technical sheet directs, then add it during cool-down. Keep it away from the eyes and mucous membranes, and add a warning to wash hands after use.

Warming body gel recipe, 100 g

Distilled water 85.50 g, propanediol 5.00 g, vanillyl butyl ether 0.40 g, glycerin 3.00 g, caffeine 2.00 g, carbomer 0.60 g, sodium hydroxide solution 0.50 g, panthenol 1.00 g, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil 1.00 g, phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin 1.00 g. Disperse the carbomer in water, dissolve caffeine and panthenol, add glycerin and neutralize. Premix the vanillyl butyl ether in propanediol with the solubilizer and add it below 40 °C, then add the preservative. Check the pH, which should be about 5.5.

Safety tips

Test the warmth on a small panel before launch. Avoid use on broken or freshly shaved skin. For lip products, keep the dose at the low end and avoid combining it with other strong warming or cooling agents.
