Description

Rose has been part of beauty rituals for thousands of years, from rose water in ancient Persia to modern rose creams. Customers associate it with softness, comfort and romance. IO Rose Extract Liquid is a water-soluble active that brings this classic into toners, mists, creams and body care.

Product data

Water-soluble. The card does not list applications or origin. For this ingredient, the supplier CoA of each lot confirms the exact INCI, plant source, composition and recommended level.

Rose in skin care

Rose ingredients appear as distilled waters, extracts and oils. Water-soluble rose actives suit toners and mists especially well, where the flower's image and a light scent create an instant sensory moment. Name rose only as the INCI allows.

Product formats

Rose toner

A soft toner after cleansing.

Face mist

A refreshing spray for any time of day.

Comfort cream

A cream for dry, sensitive-feeling skin.

Rose mask

A creamy mask for a pampering moment.

Body lotion

A lightly scented body lotion.

Formulating guidance

Add the active during cool-down into the water phase. Pair it with Rosa Damascena flower extract to deepen the rose theme, D-Panthenol for comfort and bisabolol for a calm-looking story. More ingredients are listed under actives.

Claims

Use cosmetic wording such as soft, comfortable, refreshed skin. Support numbers with tests on the finished product.

Who the products are for

Lovers of floral products, customers with dry or sensitive-feeling skin and gift buyers.

Fragrance balance

A rose product should smell of rose, but strong fragrance can bother sensitive skin. Keep added fragrance low and rely on the active and a touch of rose water for the scent story.

Mists

Mists must spray finely and feel fresh. A small amount of glycerin keeps skin from feeling tight after the water evaporates.

Testing

Run stability at room temperature, 40 °C and under light, checking pH, color and odor.

Packaging

Pink or frosted glass, fine-mist pumps and airless jars support the rose theme.

Batch quality

Keep the CoA for each lot and store retained samples.

Range planning

A toner, a mist and a cream form a rose collection, with a mask as an add-on.

Seasonal use

Rose collections sell well around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.

Preservation

Confirm the preservative system with a challenge test.

Original recipe: rose face mist, 100 g

Purified water 87.50 g, IO Rose Extract Liquid 3.00 g as an example level per CoA, glycerin 3.00 g, propanediol 3.00 g, panthenol 1.00 g, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil 0.40 g, rose fragrance 0.10 g, preservative 0.80 g, sodium citrate solution 1.20 g. For IO Rose Extract Liquid, premix fragrance with the solubilizer, add to water with the remaining ingredients and stir until clear. Adjust pH to about 5.5.

Sensitive-feeling skin

Rose products often appeal to customers whose skin feels tight or reactive. Keep the comfort cream fragrance-light, use mild preservatives and test on sensitive panelists. A short, clear ingredient list builds trust with this group.

Mask ritual

A creamy rose mask, applied for fifteen minutes once a week with a cup of tea, turns skin care into a pampering ritual. Describe it on the pack.

Body care

A lightly scented rose body lotion completes the collection and suits daily use after the shower.

Gifting

A toner and mist duo in a pink box makes an easy gift.

Labeling

Use the INCI from the CoA on the label rather than the trade name, and list fragrance allergens where your market requires it.

Routine

Toner after cleansing, cream morning and evening, mist through the day.

Storage

Store the container closed in a cool place away from light.
