Description
Pumpkin enzyme masks are a favorite in professional skin care rooms: they smell warm and autumnal, feel gentle and leave skin smooth and glowing. Pumpkin Enzyme Peel is a water-soluble active for this kind of enzyme-based exfoliation, with masks, night care, lip care and even scalp exfoliation on the supplier specification.
Product data
Water-soluble. Typical applications: night cosmetics, lip cosmetics, masks, creams, eye serums, cosmetics for the neck and décolleté and exfoliating cosmetics for the scalp. The exact INCI, composition, enzyme activity and recommended level are confirmed on the supplier CoA for each lot.
Enzyme exfoliation
Enzymes help loosen the bonds that hold dead surface cells together, so they can be rinsed or wiped away. Compared with strong acids, enzyme exfoliation tends to feel gentler, and compared with scrubs, it needs no particles. That makes it suitable for sensitive areas like the lips, neck and around the eyes when formulated carefully.
Protecting enzyme activity
Enzymes are sensitive to heat, extreme pH and some preservatives and surfactants. Add the active during cool-down below the supplier's temperature limit, keep the pH in the supplier's recommended range and test activity-sensitive ingredients for compatibility.
Product formats

Formulating guidance
Add the active during cool-down into the water phase. Pair it with D-Panthenol for comfort, niacinamide for radiance and aloe vera gel for a soothing feel. Ingredients that pair well with Pumpkin Enzyme Peel are collected under actives.

Sun advice
Exfoliating routines are best paired with daily.
Testing
Run stability at room temperature, 40 °C and refrigerated, checking pH, viscosity, color and odor. If possible, ask the supplier how to check remaining enzyme activity over time.
Packaging
Airless tubes and jars with spatulas protect masks. Small sizes encourage fresh use.
Batch quality
Keep the CoA for each lot, note the expiry date and store retained samples.
Routine guidance
Mask once or twice a week, night cream several evenings a week and lip polish as needed.
Range planning
A mask, a lip polish and a night cream form a seasonal glow set.
Preservation
Some preservatives can reduce enzyme activity. Ask the supplier which systems are compatible and confirm with a challenge test.
