Description
Built for one job: the under-eye area
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 + Chrysin Eye Complex is a commercial eye-contour solution made for products that target the look of dark circles. It combines two palmitoyl peptides with chrysin, a plant flavonoid, and a helper molecule, in a ready liquid. The published INCI is Water (Aqua) (and) Glycerin (and) Steareth-20 (and) N-Hydroxysuccinimide (and) Chrysin (and) Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 (and) Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7. CAS is Mixture; the components are Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 147732-56-7, Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 221227-05-0 and Chrysin 480-40-0. Stored appearance notes describe a clear yellow liquid.
Other eye-contour actives
Hesperidin Methyl Chalcone + Dipeptide-2 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 Eye Complex and Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5, are separate eye-contour actives aimed more at puffiness. Many eye creams combine Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 + Chrysin Eye Complex with one of them to cover dark circles and puffiness in one product. Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 Liquid shares the two palmitoyl peptides but lacks the chrysin component. More options are in our peptide solutions.
Formulating with it
Phase and temperature
Add it in cool-down, below 40 °C, with gentle mixing, and avoid long holds at high temperature. It blends into gentle eye gels and the water phase of finished emulsions. The light yellow color can tint very clear gels, so check the shade in the final product.
Level
This card does not state a use percentage, so follow the CoA and the supplier documentation for the level.
Product types that suit it
Under-eye creams, eye gels, roll-on eye serums, concealer-care hybrids and eye patches.
Pairing ideas
Caffeine, Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5, sodium hyaluronate and light-reflecting minerals. Add each active separately and check clarity, odor and viscosity after each addition instead of premixing several actives in one beaker.
Example architecture
Water, glycerin, a light gel polymer, caffeine, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 + Chrysin Eye Complex at the supplier level in cool-down, panthenol, a chelator and a broad-spectrum preservative, in a roll-on or pump. The level comes from the CoA, so no gram recipe is shown here.
Claims
Describe dark circles that look lighter and an eye area that looks brighter and more rested. Keep claims cosmetic and tied to appearance. Any before-and-after statement needs a test on the finished product, not on the raw material.
Testing the finished product
Run a stability check on the finished product at room temperature, at 40 °C and in a fridge for several weeks, and watch color, odor, clarity, viscosity and pH. Check the product in its final pack too, since pumps, droppers and jars expose it to air differently. A preservative challenge test on the final product is the standard step before launch.
Lot handling and storage
Record appearance and pH on arrival, compare them with the CoA, and keep the CoA with your batch records so each finished batch can be traced to its lot. Store tightly closed, cool and away from light, and respect the shelf life on the CoA.
Ordering
It is sold as a raw material for cosmetic formulation, not as a finished consumer product. Start with a small pack for bench trials and scale once your stability checks pass. It ships from Florida, usually within 1 to 2 business days, in the pack sizes shown above, and US shipping is free on orders of $50 or more.
