Description
OleoSoft-4 at a glance
OleoSoft-4 is an oil-soluble emollient and oil complex supplied as an oily liquid. It has a very light texture that absorbs quickly into skin and hair without leaving an oily sheen. The supplier lists shampoos, masks, root serums, rinse-off conditioners, sensitive scalp care, professional hair cosmetics, creams, balms and serums. It is added to the oil phase. Confirm the full INCI and dose on the certificate of analysis.
Between an emollient and an oil
Plant oils nourish well but can feel heavy and greasy, especially on the scalp and roots. Light esters absorb fast but give less nourishment. OleoSoft-4 sits between these two groups: it combines a nourished feel with fast absorption. This makes oil-based scalp care possible for people who usually avoid oils.
Scalp oiling, the modern way
Scalp oiling is a traditional practice in India and other countries, and it has become a global trend on social media. Classic oils such as coconut or castor oil are rich and need thorough washing. A light oil complex brings the ritual into pre-wash oils, root serums and masks that rinse easily and do not leave the hair flat.

How to use it
Add OleoSoft-4 to the oil phase. In anhydrous oils, mix it with the other lipids at room temperature. In emulsions, add it to the oil phase before emulsification. In shampoos, solubilize it with a suitable surfactant or solubilizer before adding it to the base. Keep finished water-based products between pH 4.3 and 5.5.
Partners
Scalp oils and root serums benefit from light carriers and stabilizers. Cosmetic jojoba oil adds a classic scalp oil feel, and vitamin E acetate protects the lipid blend. More concentrates are listed in the actives catalog.

Pre-wash scalp oil recipe, 100 g
Caprylic/capric triglyceride 45.00 g, OleoSoft-4 20.00 g, cosmetic jojoba oil 15.00 g, squalane 10.00 g, PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate 8.00 g, tocopherol 0.50 g, rosemary leaf extract in oil 0.50 g, fragrance 1.00 g. Weigh all ingredients into a clean beaker and mix at room temperature until clear. The PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate helps the oil rinse off easily with shampoo. Fill into bottles with a dropper or a nozzle applicator.
Who it is for
People with a dry or tight-feeling scalp, those who follow scalp care routines and people with fine hair who want oil care without heaviness form the main audience. Professional salons can use it in scalp massages and spa rituals.
Dose guidance
Follow the technical sheet. Pre-wash oils can contain a high level, and leave-on root serums a lower level.
Testing
Panel evaluation of greasiness, absorption and scalp comfort, plus gloss readings on hair tresses, support light-feel and shine wording.
Sensitive scalp
A sensitive scalp often reacts to fragrance, strong surfactants and frequent washing. Gentle care uses mild cleansers, low fragrance and soft emollients. OleoSoft-4 brings comfort and softness without a heavy film. Recommend a patch test for new users.
Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool place, away from heat and light.
