Description

Capillary Care Complex in short

Capillary Care Complex is a liquid hair care active that dissolves in water. The supplier specification lists shampoos and hair cosmetics. In the cosmetic industry, the word capillary refers to hair, especially in European usage, so this is a complex for general hair and scalp care.

A booster for everyday hair care

Not every hair product needs a specialized active. Many shampoos, conditioners and masks benefit from a general care complex that makes hair feel stronger and the scalp look healthier. A single complex used across a range also keeps purchasing and documentation simple. Capillary Care Complex is positioned in this role: a reliable, water-soluble booster that can be added at the end of production.

Formats

Shampoos

The supplier specification lists shampoos first. Add the complex after the surfactants and thickeners at the end of mixing.

Conditioners and masks

Rinse-off care with longer contact time, especially masks, lets more of the complex act on the hair.

Scalp lotions

Leave-on lotions keep the complex on the scalp until the next wash, which makes them the best showcase for a hair active.

How to use it

Add the complex to the water phase below 40 °C and stir until uniform. In shampoos, check viscosity after addition, since liquid actives can thin a surfactant gel. Adjust with salt or a polymer thickener if needed. Keep the final pH slightly acidic.

Partners

A complete hair care line combines a care complex with moisture and protein ingredients. Hydrolyzed keratin supports a strengthening message, and silk amino acids liquid adds softness. More hair and scalp concentrates are listed in the actives catalog.

Characteristics

Form: liquid. Solubility: water. Phase: water, cool-down. Listed uses: shampoos, hair cosmetics. Full INCI, active content and dose: stated on the CoA and technical sheet supplied with each lot.

Daily care shampoo recipe, 100 g

Distilled water 59.40 g, sodium laureth sulfate solution 25.00 g, cocamidopropyl betaine 8.00 g, Capillary Care Complex 3.00 g, glycerin 1.00 g, polyquaternium-10 0.20 g, panthenol 0.50 g, phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin 1.00 g, fragrance 0.40 g, citric acid solution 0.50 g, sodium chloride 1.00 g. Disperse polyquaternium-10 in water, add the surfactants, glycerin and panthenol, then add the complex, fragrance and preservative, adjust the pH to about 5.5 and thicken with salt.

Viscosity tips for shampoos

Liquid actives can change the viscosity curve of a shampoo. Add the salt in small steps and measure after each step, because too much salt makes the shampoo thin again. Record the final salt level for production.

Range ideas

A family-friendly line with a shampoo, a light conditioner and a scalp lotion can all carry the same complex. Keep fragrances mild and the message simple: healthy-looking hair and a comfortable scalp every day.

Dose guidance

Use the level from the technical sheet. In shampoos, choose the upper part of the range, since most of the product is rinsed off. In leave-on lotions, the middle of the range is a good start.

Communicating hair benefits

Shoppers respond to benefits they can feel: hair that is easier to comb, feels stronger and looks shinier, and a scalp that feels fresh and comfortable. Use these words on the label rather than technical terms. Avoid claims about hair growth or shedding, which belong to a different regulatory category.

Storage

Store tightly closed in a cool place, away from heat and light.
