AMIPERFECT ER from wintergreen leaf

AMIPERFECT ER is a natural active powder from the leaf of wintergreen, Gaultheria procumbens, a plant that is a natural source of salicylic compounds. Its INCI is Gaultheria Procumbens (Wintergreen) Leaf Extract. The material is a white, water-soluble powder made in France, recommended at 0.1 to 3% in the finished product. Store it tightly closed in a dark place at no more than 20 °C. The smallest pack is 10 g.

Radiance and clarity

The supplier presents AMIPERFECT ER for mature, dull and oily skin with uneven tone. Its gentle exfoliating action helps skin renew its surface, so the complexion looks smoother and brighter. On oily skin the face looks less shiny and pores look less visible. In hair care it is used for an oily or flaky scalp. Claims should describe how skin and scalp look and feel.

Product types

Toners, cleansing gels, masks and serums for oily skin are the obvious fit. BB creams can carry it at low levels for a more even look, and age care creams use it for smoother texture and radiance. On the scalp side, shampoos and tonics for oily or flaky scalps keep the scalp feeling clean and fresh, and leave-on scalp serums give the longest contact time.

Starting levels

Begin around 0.5 to 1% in daily leave-on products and use higher levels in rinse-off cleansers and masks.

Processing and partners
