Description

A heptapeptide carried in lecithin

Acetyl sh-Heptapeptide-1 is a seven amino acid signal peptide used in skin care built around comfort, resilience and a well-cared-for skin barrier. In this complex the peptide is encapsulated with hydrogenated lecithin and a touch of shea butter, so it arrives as a ready liquid that blends into creams and serums without extra solubilizers. It sits in our peptide solutions range.

Declared composition

The INCI is Acetyl sh-Heptapeptide-1, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Glycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Phenethyl Alcohol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Aqua. Phenethyl alcohol and ethylhexylglycerin protect the raw material, and glycerin adds humectancy.

Where formulators use it

Barrier creams, city-defense serums, comfort balms for dry or reactive-looking skin and eye care are the most common homes. Keep claims cosmetic: skin that feels more comfortable, looks smoother and appears more resilient. For an appearance-focused cosmetic multi-peptide serum it pairs with Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 Liquid, and for a soothing story with ectoin.

Processing

Temperature and shear

Stir the liquid into the cooled emulsion or water phase below 40 °C. Moderate mixing is fine; avoid long high-shear runs that can disturb the lecithin carrier.

pH and compatibility

Aim for a finished pH between about 5 and 7. Avoid high alcohol content and strong electrolytes, which can destabilize lecithin vesicles.

Packs

Sold in 50 g, 100 g and 250 g packs (1.76, 3.5 and 8.8 oz) shipped from Florida. Keep cool, tightly closed and away from light.
