What is in the kit

About this kit

This kit brings together three of the most requested cosmetic peptides in trial sizes, so you can build and compare a smoothing serum before buying full sizes. You get the palmitoyl tripeptide-1 and palmitoyl tetrapeptide-7 solution, the acetyl hexapeptide-8 solution and copper tripeptide-1 powder, each enough for several small lab batches.

Formulators use this trio to help reduce the look of fine lines and expression lines and to leave skin looking smoother and more even. The two solutions go straight into the cool-down phase of a water gel, while the copper peptide is dissolved in a little water first and works best in a separate blue serum kept away from strong acids and vitamin C.

Hydrate the gum in water and glycerin, cool below 40 °C, add phase B and adjust pH to 5.5 to 6.5. Make the copper peptide as its own serum at about 0.1 g per 100 g.

FAQ

How many test batches does the kit make?

At typical use levels each solution covers several 50 to 100 g lab batches and the 1 g copper peptide powder covers many small batches.

Can I combine all three peptides in one serum?

The two solutions combine well. Copper peptide is usually kept in a separate product because it can react with acids, vitamin C and some chelators.

Are these the same materials as the full sizes?

Yes, the kit uses the same sample packs sold on each product page, so results scale directly to the full sizes.
