Description

Formulators who build hydration products often blend two or three hyaluronic acid grades to get both a smooth surface film and a deeper, longer-lasting moisture feel. Multi-Weight Hyaluronic Acid Solution does that blending in advance. It is a ready solution of several hyaluronic acid forms, sold under a name that suggests four dimensions of hydration.

The multi-type principle

Hyaluronic acid comes in many forms. High molecular weight grades form a visible, silky film on the surface. Lower weight and modified grades behave differently, with smaller fragments and altered polymers adding other qualities such as better spreading, less tack or improved affinity for the skin surface. A multi-type complex combines these roles so that one ingredient line on the label can carry a layered hydration story. The exact composition of 4D is listed on the CoA for each lot.

Why choose a ready solution

Hyaluronic powders need time, patience and the right technique to hydrate without lumps. A liquid concentrate removes that step. It is particularly useful for small brands and for cold-process products such as toners, mists and gel serums, where no heating stage is available to speed up dissolution.

Applications from the card

The product card lists one of the broadest application ranges in our catalog.

Face care

Serums, creams, fluids, toners, essences and masks. A toner or essence with the complex is an easy way to add hydration at the start of a routine.

Eye and sensitive products

Eye cosmetics, children's cosmetics and makeup removers are named. In these products a simple, fragrance-free base is the safest choice.

Body and hair

Balms, sprays and hair cosmetics. In hair mists and leave-in sprays the complex adds softness and a light, non-greasy feel.

Formulating guidance

Add the solution to the water phase during cool-down and stir until uniform. Hyaluronic systems are sensitive to high electrolyte levels and to very low pH, which can reduce viscosity, so check the finished product over several weeks. Combine it with a humectant base and, in emulsions, with barrier lipids. For a powder-based partner when you want to control molecular weight yourself, see nano sodium hyaluronate. For another ready liquid from the same family, our 4D Hyaluronic Acid listing is also available. Browse all hydration concentrates in actives.

Talking about results

Hydration claims are among the easiest to substantiate. Instrumental moisture measurements before and after application, together with user perception questionnaires, support wording such as more hydrated, plumper-looking and smoother. Keep visual claims modest and avoid implying any structural change.

Texture tips

Multi-type hyaluronic systems can feel slightly elastic. If a serum feels too stringy, reduce the level a little or add a small amount of a light humectant such as propanediol. In creams the complex helps give a cushioned, comfortable after-feel.

Original recipe: hydrating facial mist, 100 g

Rose water 50.00 g, purified water 41.30 g, glycerin 2.00 g, 4D liquid 3.00 g as an example level per CoA, panthenol 1.00 g, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil 0.50 g premixed with fragrance 0.10 g, preservative 1.00 g, allantoin 0.10 g, citric acid solution 1.00 g. Dissolve each ingredient in order with slow stirring at room temperature, adjust pH to about 5.5 and fill into fine-mist spray bottles.

Record the lot number in your batch log so every production run can be traced back to its certificate of analysis. Retain a small sample of each lot for at least the shelf life of the finished product, since it makes later quality questions much easier to answer.

Storage

Keep closed in a cool place, away from direct sunlight. Reseal after use to protect the solution from contamination.
