Description

Kelp Yeast Complex at a glance

Kelp Yeast Complex is a liquid that combines a giant kelp extract with hydrolyzed yeast extract. The supplier specification INCI is Water, Macrocystis Pyrifera (Kelp) Extract, Hydrolyzed Yeast Extract. It dissolves in water. The supplier specification lists anti-age cosmetics, face and body skin care, and products used before and after sun exposure. Confirm the extract content and dose on the certificate of analysis.

Giant kelp and yeast

Giant kelp grows in cold coastal waters of the Pacific and can reach many meters in length. It is rich in alginates, fucoidans, minerals and trace elements, and marine extracts from it are used for moisturizing and revitalizing skin care. Yeast extracts are a classic biotech ingredient: hydrolysis releases amino acids, peptides, B vitamins and other small molecules. Combined, they give a nourishing marine and biotech complex with a clear, modern story.

Formats

Anti-age creams and serums

Revitalizing creams and serums for mature or tired-looking skin are the main use.

Body care

Body lotions and creams benefit from a nourishing marine complex.

Before-sun and after-sun

The supplier specification lists products for use before and after sun exposure. After-sun lotions and gels are a natural fit.

How to use it

Add the complex to the water phase below 40 °C and stir until uniform. Marine and yeast extracts can bring a mild characteristic odor and slight color; check them in light, fragrance-free products. Keep the final pH in a skin-friendly range. Use a robust preservative system, since yeast extracts are rich in nutrients.

Partners

Marine ranges combine seaweed extracts with minerals and humectants. Rodacea adds a red algae and sea water story, and the Multimineral Complex brings thermal-water minerals. More hydrolysate actives are listed in the hydrolysates catalog.

Characteristics

INCI: Water, Macrocystis Pyrifera (Kelp) Extract, Hydrolyzed Yeast Extract. Form: liquid. Solubility: water. Phase: water, cool-down. Listed uses: anti-age cosmetics, face and body care, before- and after-sun products. Extract content and dose: stated on the CoA supplied with each lot.

Marine after-sun lotion recipe, 100 g

Distilled water 76.50 g, cetearyl olivate and sorbitan olivate 3.00 g, caprylic and capric triglyceride 5.00 g, glycerin 4.00 g, Kelp Yeast Complex 5.00 g, aloe vera juice 3.00 g, panthenol 1.50 g, xanthan gum 0.20 g, menthyl lactate 0.20 g, phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin 1.00 g, fragrance 0.20 g, sodium citrate solution 0.40 g. Heat the emulsifier, triglyceride and water to 75 °C, emulsify, cool, then add the complex, aloe juice, panthenol, menthyl lactate, fragrance and preservative below 40 °C and check the pH.

Before-after-sun care

Products used before sun exposure prepare the skin with moisture and antioxidants. They do not replace. Make that clear on the label if the product has no.

Odor management

Seaweed and yeast can give a marine or slightly savory note. A fresh aquatic fragrance complements it well. Test the odor after stability storage, since natural notes can become stronger over time.

Dose guidance

Follow the technical sheet. Body lotions and after-sun products use a moderate dose, anti-age serums the upper part of the range.

The marine trend

Marine ingredients remain popular because they combine a natural origin with a clean, fresh image. Consumers connect the sea with minerals, purity and vitality. A kelp and yeast complex supports that image with a functional, nourishing story. Blue or green packaging, a fresh scent and a short explanation of giant kelp make the range easy to recognize.

Storage

Store tightly closed in a cool place, away from heat and light.
