Description
Epidermosil in short
Epidermosil is a liquid active concentrate for skin care. It dissolves in water and is added at cool-down. The supplier specification lists creams and lotions for all skin types, care products for oily skin, for delicate skin in the diaper area and for aging skin, and moisturizers and serums. The name refers to the epidermis, the outer layer of the skin, and suggests a skin-conditioning active, possibly silicon-based. Confirm the composition and full INCI on the certificate of analysis.
A mild, versatile conditioner
The wide list of skin types is unusual. Oily skin, aging skin and the delicate skin of babies have very different needs, and few actives are offered for all three. This points to a mild, skin-conditioning profile that supports a balanced, comfortable and smoother-looking skin rather than a strong, targeted effect. Such actives are useful as a base component across a whole range.
Formats
Creams and lotions for all skin types
Everyday moisturizers can carry the active as a conditioning component.
Oily-skin care
Light gels and fluids for oily skin benefit from a balancing, comfortable feel without heaviness.
Delicate skin care
Creams for the diaper area and delicate skin must be very mild. Keep these formulas fragrance-free and simple.
Mature skin
Serums and creams for aging skin can use the active as a smoothing component.
How to use it
Add Epidermosil to the water phase below 40 °C and stir until uniform. In emulsions, add it after cooling. Check the final pH and keep it in a skin-friendly range. Follow the dose in the technical sheet.
Partners
Mild care concepts combine well with soothing classics. Allantoin supports comfort, and D-panthenol adds moisture and softness. More skin care concentrates are listed in the actives catalog.

Products for babies need extra care
Baby products require a safety assessment that covers the target age, minimal fragrance or none, mild preservatives and careful testing. Choose packaging that limits contamination, such as tubes. Keep the claim on comfort and protection of delicate skin.
Dose guidance
Use the dose from the technical sheet. In creams for delicate skin, stay in the lower part of the range. In serums for mature skin, the middle of the range is a sensible start.
Range idea
A family skin care line with a body lotion, a face cream and a barrier cream can share this active as a common mild conditioner and keep the ingredient list short and consistent.
Why a mild base active is useful
Brands often build a range around one hero active and then need a mild, compatible conditioner for the supporting products. A versatile skin conditioner that suits oily, mature and delicate skin can fill that role across cleansers, lotions and creams, while the hero active stays in the serum. This keeps the range consistent and the documentation simple.
Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool place, away from heat.
