Description

A peptide for the look of volume

Adifyline is a cosmetic solution of Acetyl Hexapeptide-38, CAS 1400634-44-7, used in leave-on products aimed at the look of volume and contour: fuller-looking cheeks, lips and décolleté. It is not an expression-line peptide, even though some older templates group it with them. Confirm the full vehicle INCI on the CoA.

How it differs from other hexapeptides

Expression-line hexapeptides such as Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 are positioned to smooth the look of lines. Adifyline goes the other way: it is positioned for a plumper, fuller look in areas where volume is wanted. That makes it a distinct choice for lip plumpers, cheek-contour serums and décolleté creams.

Formulating with Adifyline

Process

Add the solution during cool-down, below 40 °C, and mix gently.

Bases

Lip serums and balms with a water phase, cheek-contour creams and décolleté lotions are typical. In anhydrous lip balms, a water-based solution does not dissolve; use an emulsion base or a lip gel instead. Take the use level from the supplier documentation for your lot.

Pairing ideas

For lips, pair Adifyline with hyaluronic acid and a soft emollient. For the face, combine with a firming peptide such as Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 + Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 Liquid. Body-contour products can also use it next to Pepti-slim where the brief covers both volume and toning in different zones. Add each active separately in cool-down.

Example: lip-plumping gloss architecture

A water-in-oil or lip-gel base, glycerin, hyaluronic acid and Adifyline added after cooling, with a validated preservative. Exact levels come from the supplier documentation. A doe-foot applicator and a glossy finish support the full-lip look.

Claims

Keep claims cosmetic: fuller-looking lips, a more defined-looking contour, plumper-looking skin.

Lot handling and storage

Record appearance and pH on arrival, compare them with the CoA, and keep the CoA with your batch records so each finished batch can be traced to its lot. Store tightly closed, cool and away from light.

Planning a volume-look range

Volume-look products work well as a small set: a lip-plumping gloss, a cheek-contour serum and a décolleté cream. Using Adifyline across the range keeps the story consistent while textures change by area. For lips, test flavor and feel carefully, since people notice taste. For décolleté products, a light, non-greasy emulsion encourages daily use.

Ordering

It ships from Florida, usually within 1 to 2 business days, in the pack sizes shown above, and US shipping is free on orders of $50 or more. Compare all peptide solutions.
