Description
Wrinkle Defense at a glance
Wrinkle Defense is a water-soluble liquid anti-wrinkle active. The supplier lists anti-age serums, active gels, leave-on makeup removers, masks, creams and lotions for anti-age ranges and lifting products. The working pH is 2.0 to 5.0. It is added to the water phase during cool-down. Confirm the full INCI and dose on the certificate of analysis.
Fine lines and wrinkles
Wrinkles form for several reasons: repeated facial movement, loss of firmness and moisture, sun exposure and time. Fine lines usually appear first around the eyes and on the forehead. Anti-wrinkle care aims to make these lines look smoother and softer and to keep the skin supple. Wrinkle Defense is built for this daily, long-term care.
An active for acidic formulas
Many anti-wrinkle actives lose stability in acidic products. Wrinkle Defense works from pH 2.0 to 5.0, so it fits serums with fruit acids, exfoliating gels and other low-pH products. This allows a two-way appearance-focused cosmetic concept: smoother texture from gentle exfoliation and smoother-looking lines from the active.

How to use it
Add Wrinkle Defense to the water phase below 40 °C and stir until uniform. Keep the final pH between 2.0 and 5.0. For skin comfort in leave-on products, a pH of 4.0 to 5.0 is a good target unless the product is designed as an exfoliant.
Partners
Anti-wrinkle concepts often combine several routes. Acetyl hexapeptide-8 targets expression lines, and palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 supports firmness. More concentrates are listed in the actives catalog.

Who it is for
Consumers from their thirties onward who notice the first lines, and mature consumers who want a full anti-age routine, form the main audience. Leave-on makeup removers with an appearance-focused cosmetic active suit people who want care in every step.
Routine advice
Low-pH products can make the skin more sensitive to the sun, so daily protection is important.
Dose guidance
Follow the technical sheet. Serums use the upper end of the range.
Testing
Profilometry, standardized photos of crow's feet and forehead lines and cutometer readings over eight weeks support smoother-looking lines and firmness wording.
Leave-on makeup removers
Micellar waters and cleansing milks that are not rinsed off stay on the skin after use. Adding an anti-wrinkle active turns a basic cleansing step into a caring one. Keep the surfactant level low and gentle, especially for the eye area.
Storage
Store tightly closed in a cool place, away from direct light and heat.
